A manufacturer of complete sets of insulating glass equipment tells you: CNC roll bending machines process curved workpieces, which is a type of cold bending process. The principle of roll bending machines processing arcs is simply based on the principle that three points determine a circle. During the processing, the workpiece travels at a certain speed on a predetermined track. Before the workpiece is bent, the three wheels rotate at equal speeds. After the workpiece is deformed, the speeds of the three wheels are no longer consistent, but a certain mutual conversion relationship is maintained between them. During the workpiece processing, the speed of the three wheels is crucial for protecting the surface quality of the workpiece; incorrect speeds can lead to surface damage.
CNC Roll Bending Machine:
1. Nationwide first four-axis positioning system, forming a closed space within the deformation area, minimizing profile twisting deformation.
2. Adopts an imported computer system for more accurate calculation of the bending arc size, with a maximum accuracy error controlled within 0.5cm.

3. The hydraulic control system incorporates advanced CNC technology and hydraulic control systems from both domestic and international sources, achieving positioning accuracy of less than 0.02mm.
4. An independently developed ultra-low pressure self-testing rebound system further eliminates rebound.
5. Simple operation and convenient CNC control for C-shaped, U-shaped, elliptical, round, and spring-shaped profiles.
6. Fully automatic CNC bending, with integrated processing of the strip and profile, resulting in zero damage and scratches.
7. Profiles with various surface treatments such as spraying, electrophoresis, electroplating, and wire drawing can be directly bent without the wavy lines, creases, and scratches produced by ordinary bending. The technology reaches international advanced levels.
During the operation of the roll bending machine, the two horizontal wheels only rotate without horizontal displacement, while the vertical wheel rotates and moves downwards. It is easy to see that the larger the pressure applied, the smaller the workpiece forming radius. Through numerous experiments, we have determined a direct relationship between the workpiece forming radius and the pressure applied. Different materials, or even the same material but different heat treatment methods or whether heat treatment has been performed, will all alter the forming radius. Through continuous exploration and research, we have derived an expression relating the material's forming radius to the pressure applied. Furthermore, under the control of this expression, the radius of the rolled workpiece has a very small error compared to the radius required for actual production.
To minimize workpiece processing errors, the hydraulic system of the roll bending machine adopts full servo closed-loop control. Through a linear scale and encoder, it continuously provides feedback on the pressure applied and the displacement of the workpiece, allowing for continuous fine-tuning. Compared to an open-loop control system, this significantly reduces the error caused by the roll bending arc and also greatly improves the stability of the working system.
